All programmes are non-commercial, volunteer-led and open to the public. Participation is free or offered at cost, and no activity generates profit for individuals.

Programme 01

Cultural Exchange & Language Workshops

Organizing public events, language practice groups, literature clubs, and artistic exhibitions to promote cross-cultural heritage and dialogue.

What this includes

Weekly conversation circles for Finnish, English and Russian language practice, open to all levels.
Literature and film evenings hosted in cooperation with local libraries and cultural venues.
Exhibitions and craft workshops presenting regional heritage, music and folk traditions.
Public cultural celebrations that welcome families, students and long-term residents alike.

Programme 02

Community Integration & Support

Assisting newcomers, families, and residents in navigating local services, social engagement, and civic integration in Tampere and surrounding regions.

What this includes

Guidance sessions explaining municipal services, healthcare registration, schooling and residency paperwork.
Peer mentoring that pairs newly arrived residents with experienced volunteers.
Family-friendly meetups that reduce isolation and build durable local friendships.
Referrals to official Finnish authorities and other registered associations when specialist help is needed.

Programme 03

Educational Seminars & Youth Dialogue

Conducting interactive lectures, youth workshops, and historical seminars focused on peacebuilding, diplomacy, and European neighbour relations.

What this includes

Seminars with historians, educators and civil-society practitioners, open to the public free of charge.
Youth workshops on media literacy, respectful debate and conflict de-escalation.
Study visits and joint sessions with schools, universities and student organisations.
Documented learning materials shared with participants after each seminar.

Programme 04

Humanitarian & Social Solidarity

Coordinating community relief efforts, cultural volunteering, and charitable outreach activities to support vulnerable populations locally.

What this includes

Volunteer drives collecting clothing, school supplies and household essentials for families in need.
Companionship and practical assistance visits for isolated elderly residents.
Coordination with local charities and parishes to avoid duplication and reach people faster.
Transparent reporting of collected resources to the membership at the annual general meeting.
